In cricketing terms there’s nothing quite like day two of a test match, it really sets the scene for the likely outcome. And so it proved on August 2nd at Edgbaston, when England bowled out India in less than a day, before going on to win the test in fine style.

Signature Private Finance were there with invited guests to witness the spectacular day’s play, whilst discussing all things short term property finance; it’s what we do.

Our box in the Aylesford suite was the perfect base for the day, which began early with bacon rolls, pastries and hot drinks - no alcohol until 11.00 and the start of play, if you were wondering. We asked!

The personal touch

But in this day of instant communication, with mobiles, skype, email, text and social media offering a myriad ways to connect, we still believe nothing beats the personal touch. There is nothing better than shaking hands and discussing at length in person, what finance is needed.

At the heart of the difference that sets Signature apart from other bridging lenders is not just our unrivalled speed of decision, our low rates and high LTV, but our high-quality customer service. We get our hands dirty and walk around sites to understand a developer’s vision.

Our determination to get deals done stems from our connection to our customers. Regardless of whether they come direct to us or are introduced by one of the many brokers that consider Signature Private Finance their go-to lender of choice, we try harder to see the value our client sees.

Bridging without boundaries

It’s a cricket pun only, because we clearly have boundaries and strict lending criteria. But being able to sit down with professional finance brokers and discuss the finer details of around £3m of property finance, said more about our willingness to lend than worrying about boundaries.

And introducing members of the extended Signature team to brokers is important. It’s a team effort and thanks to the sterling efforts of our BDMs, Danny Power and Jason Fantini, backed by the lending managers and support team, our year is going as well as England’s day did.

We are a growing force in the market and attracting interest on a major scale, which makes the cricket, beer and sandwiches well worth it.

More to come

We have other events lined up and some still in the planning phase, with our own golf day in September another chance to meet and talk short-term property finance with brokers and developers, in a relaxed, convivial environment.

Please keep an eye out for details of events in your area, some a little more low-key but no less enjoyable. We hope we have the opportunity to sit down and discuss yours or your clients’ property finance needs soon, but for a first-class service delivery, don’t wait, get in touch today.
